David first started creating detailed sketches and drawings in Georgia at a young age. His first trip to Claude Monet's estate in Giverny, France, sparked his interest in Impressionism, which later evolved into Tonalism. Today, David's goal as an artist is to create mood evoking paintings, focusing on a strong sense of light and shadow.

Olessia was formally educated in the visual arts as a girl growing up in Russia and had been painting for most of her life. Today is different from when she was a little girl growing up in Siberia, but her love for art will always live on in her work. An American citizen, she and her family live and work at the old converted Wilkes Mill and Feed Company in Washington, Georgia.
